Vibe coding cleanup and production builds

Your app works in the demo. We make your vibe-coded app production ready.

We do vibe coding cleanup for apps built in Lovable, Bolt, Replit, Base44, v0 or Cursor, and make them ready for real users: locked-down data, finished login, backups, monitoring, tests and accounts you control. It starts with a fixed $299 Production Readiness Audit, delivered within five business days of access to your project. The fee is credited toward a build ordered within 60 days of the report.

All prices are in US dollars.

  • Founded in 2009; our founder has built websites since 1999
  • $299 fixed audit, credited toward the build
  • Your code stays in your repository

Why an app that works in the demo can still fail in production.

AI app builders turn an idea into clickable screens in an afternoon, and that is worth a lot. A founder can test a market and sign up the first users without hiring a team.

The trouble starts when the prototype quietly becomes the product. A demo only has to work for one person who knows where to click. A product has to work for strangers who sign up with odd emails, forget passwords, open ten tabs and pay with expired cards. Some will try to break things on purpose.

The builders produce code that works for the first case and is rarely checked against the second. None of this shows in the front end: the app looks finished, the buttons work and the data shows up. So founders tend to find the problems the expensive way, through a leaked customer list, a password reset that sends users to the preview site, or a launch that search engines never indexed.

What vibe coding cleanup fixes before launch.

These are the eight gaps we check for first, whichever builder made the app. Each one is fixable, and none of them means the original build was wasted.

  1. 01

Exposed database rules or keys. Tables readable by anyone holding the public key, or a secret key shipped inside the code that runs in the browser. Either one can expose your customer records.

  2. 02

Unfinished authentication. Sign-up works, but password reset points at the wrong domain, email confirmation never arrives, or a logged-out visitor can open a private page by typing its address.

  3. 03

No backups. The database has no tested restore. One bad database change or deleted table and the data is gone.

  4. 04

No rate limiting. Forms, logins and AI features accept unlimited requests, so one script can run up your bill or fill your database with junk.

  5. 05

Pages search engines cannot read. The app is built in the browser with JavaScript, so crawlers that read only the raw HTML see an empty shell. Our web design page explains why static HTML matters.

  6. 06

No error monitoring. When something fails, the user sees a blank screen and you hear about it from a support email, if at all.

  7. 07

No tests on the paths that earn money. Sign-up and payment are checked by hand, once, and break silently after the next change.

  8. 08

No way out if you needed one. The app, and sometimes the database, runs in the builder's account. Staying can be fine, but we check whether you could leave if the builder's pricing or terms changed, and what that move would take.

If your app is live and broken right now.

Tick "My app is live and broken right now" on our app audit contact form. We read those requests first and aim to reply the same business day, though we can't promise it. Before any emergency work starts, you get a fixed quote for the fix. We don't offer 24/7 or on-call support.

Once the immediate problem is fixed, we recommend the $299 audit, so you know what else is likely to break.

The $299 Production Readiness Audit, in detail.

The audit answers one question: what stands between your app and a product you can charge for? It costs $299, fixed. Order it through our contact form, and we confirm the scope and send a payment link by email. You get the results within five business days of access to your project. If we miss that, we refund the full $299.

We work through access that you grant and remove yourself, and we sign your NDA first if you ask. The FAQ below lists what we need.

We review seven areas: security, authentication, database, hosting, performance, error handling and SEO. Each area gets a score, so you can see at a glance where the real risk sits. Plain-language notes explain what we found and why it matters to your business.

  • 01security
  • 02authentication
  • 03database
  • 04hosting
  • 05performance
  • 06error handling
  • 07SEO

Then comes the prioritized fix list. Each item is ranked by risk and effort, so you know what has to happen before launch, what can wait a month and what is optional. That list becomes the scope of the build if you continue, and it is yours to keep and hand to any developer if you don't.

The audit also recommends, for your app, whether the database and hosting should stay with the builder or move into your own accounts. If you choose to move them, that work is part of the quoted build.

Finally, you get a debrief call with the engineer who did the review. Ask anything, including "what would you do first if money were tight?" If you order the build within 60 days of the report, the full $299 is credited toward it.

The production build: scope, price and timing.

After the audit, you get a written scope with a fixed price and a timeline before any build work starts. Production builds start from $4,000, and most small apps land between $4,000 and $15,000. We price against the fix list we already wrote, which keeps the number honest.

The work follows the fix list, gap by gap. We test each fix, then confirm it works on your live domain. Every build includes automated backups with a tested restore. Where an app needs more than patching, we rebuild the weak parts on standard tools such as Next.js, Node and Postgres, the same documented approach we use for custom development.

How the timing runs, start to finish:

  1. Audit: five business days from access to your project.

  2. Written scope: a fixed price and dates or milestones for your fix list.

  3. Build: most small apps are production ready within two to four weeks of starting the build.

Apps that take payments or hold sensitive data, such as health or financial records, take longer. For those apps, we fix the issues the audit finds and tell you what still needs a specialist.

Your code, your accounts, your alerts.

We check that you could leave your builder if you needed to, and we keep you just as free to leave us. The code lives in your repository, and the changes we make are commits you can read. Payment and other production accounts we set up are in your name, and we work in them with collaborator access you can remove at any time.

If your database or hosting sits in a builder's account, as on Lovable Cloud, Bolt Database or Replit, the audit recommends whether to keep it there or move it, app by app.

At handover you get a written guide: what runs where, what each part does, how to deploy, where the backups live and what to check before each release. Those pre-release checks keep later changes from reopening the gaps. Monitoring alerts go to you, and any competent developer can pick the project up from the guide.

Note on support: After handover, you can add a monthly support agreement, quoted for your app, covering monitoring alerts, fixes and small changes. Without one, fixes are quoted per request.

A production self-check you can run today.

You don't need to read code to find the worst problems. These eight checks take about an hour, and the first three need no tools at all.

0 / 8

If three or more of these fail, start with the audit before you launch.

Guides by platform.

Each builder leaves the gaps in different places, and each holds the database and hosting differently. A Lovable app is a React front end on Supabase, either your own project or Lovable Cloud, where the database sits in Lovable's account. Bolt offers Bolt Database or your own Supabase, and Replit runs a managed Postgres database with its own deployments.

Bolt and Replit projects vary more in stack and hosting, which changes where secrets live and how a move to your own accounts works. Our platform pages explain what we check first:

Questions founders ask about vibe-coded apps

Is vibe coding bad?

No. Vibe coding is a fast, cheap way to test an idea and get a working product in front of people. The risk comes from launching the prototype without checking security, login, backups and monitoring, because the builders optimize for a working demo. Treat the output as a strong first draft. Our self-check list shows the gaps a founder can find without reading code.

What does a vibe coding cleanup specialist do?

A vibe coding cleanup specialist takes an AI-built app and fixes what stands between it and real customers. At Flamcom that means securing the database and keys, finishing authentication, adding backups, rate limiting, error monitoring and tests, and making public pages readable by search engines. We take apps from Lovable, Bolt and Replit, and also from Base44, v0 and Cursor. The work starts with a scored audit, so the scope is written down first.

Do you rebuild the app or fix what is already there?

We fix what is there wherever it holds up, following the audit's fix list gap by gap. Where a part needs more than patching, we rebuild that part on standard tools such as Next.js, Node and Postgres. Which parts fall in each group is decided per app in the $299 audit, before you commit to anything. The written scope then prices both kinds of work, with a fixed price and a timeline.

What access do you need for the audit?

Collaborator access to your Lovable, Bolt or Replit project, read access to the GitHub repository, and read access to your Supabase project if the app uses one. The five business days start once that access is in place. You remove our access when we deliver the report, or at the end of the build if you hire us. We sign your NDA before seeing code, on request. Keep passwords and keys out of the contact form.

How much does it cost to make a vibe-coded app production ready?

The Production Readiness Audit costs $299, fixed, and takes five business days from access. Production builds start from $4,000, and most small apps cost between $4,000 and $15,000. Most small apps are production ready within two to four weeks of starting the build, and apps with payments or sensitive data take longer. You get a fixed price and dates before any build work starts. See our app audit and build prices.

Can I keep using Lovable, Bolt or Replit after you fix my app?

It depends on how much we change. If we keep the builder's stack, yes: builder edits and developer edits go through one shared repository under a working rule we agree with you, so neither overwrites the other. If we rebuild parts outside the builder, the builder can no longer edit those parts. The audit tells you which case you are in before you commit to the build.

What are vibe coding best practices before launch?

Keep the code in a repository you own from day one. Turn on database security rules before any real data goes in. Keep secret keys out of the browser. Test sign-up, password reset and payment on the live domain. Set up backups, error alerts and rate limits. Then have someone who did not build the app review it, which is exactly what the $299 audit does.

Find out what stands between your app and launch.

Send us your app link and tell us which builder you used. Tell us too whether the code is on GitHub and whether you own the database account. Within one business day (Monday to Friday), we reply by email to confirm the audit scope, with a payment link. If your business also needs a marketing site that ranks, our web design service covers that side.
