Prices on the page, before the first call.

Most agencies want a meeting before they tell you what a website costs. We would rather you know whether we fit your budget before you spend an hour on a call, so our package prices are published below. Want to hear from someone who has paid them? Ask, and we'll put you in touch with a past client who has agreed to take the call.

Build times run from kickoff to launch and are typical, not guaranteed. They assume you send feedback within two business days and supply content and access on time, and your written scope sets the exact dates. On final payment you own the site, its design, its content and the full source repository.

Starter's 12 pages are home, about, contact, up to six service pages, pricing and FAQ. Growth swaps the page limit for a keyword map, so every service, comparison and question with real search demand gets a page.

Scale adds the work a new site needs in its first months: articles that answer buyer questions, a lead magnet or calculator, and a monthly report during the 90 days of SEO work. Our website packages page explains who each one is for and what happens to an existing site.

What the "from" price covers.

Each package price is a starting price. It covers the package as described in its column, and your written scope sets the final fixed price before work starts. On Growth and Scale, the keyword map sets the page count inside that price, so a 45-page Growth site and a 30-page Growth site start from the same $5,499.

A page counts when the keyword map shows demand for it, and you approve the map before design starts (how the page policy works). What moves a price above "from" is work outside the package: e-commerce, integrations with your other software, or custom features. Those are quoted in writing before work starts, and so is anything you add partway through a project.

What drives the cost of a small business website

These are the things that move a website's price, and how each one works at Flamcom.

Cost factorHow it works at Flamcom
Page countStarter covers up to 12 pages. Growth and Scale have no page cap: the keyword map sets the count inside the package price.
Features per packageStarter has basic schema and an FAQ page. Growth and Scale add schema stacks, Quick Facts and FAQ blocks and comparison pages.
ContentGrowth is blog ready at launch. Scale adds your first 12 articles and a lead magnet or calculator.
E-commerce, integrations and custom featuresQuoted in writing before work starts, then added to your scope.

Monthly plans: care and SEO

PlanPriceWhat it covers
Care planfrom $150 a monthHosting on our account, updates, backups, uptime and speed monitoring, up to 1 hour of small edits a month, and a monthly report on uptime, speed and backups. No minimum term; 30 days' notice to cancel
SEO retainerfrom $1,499 a monthSEO, on-page AEO and GEO work (getting your pages quoted in AI answers), basic conversion fixes, Google Business Profile and Bing Places, and a monthly report on six AI engines. 3-month minimum, then month to month

The care plan keeps a finished site current. Small edits are done within 2 business days, unused edit time does not roll over, and larger changes are quoted first. The price rises above $150 for larger sites, such as Scale, or for more edit time, and your written scope sets it. If you cancel, we move the site to your own hosting at no charge.

After launch, the SEO retainer keeps adding pages, listings and fixes each month. Technical fixes are logged with the page and date, and basic conversion fixes cover forms, calls to action and on-page changes that help visitors get in touch. Each retainer is scoped after your free assessment. After the 3-month minimum it runs month to month, and you can cancel with 30 days' written notice. Our SEO packages for small business page shows what a month of work looks like.

Note on scope: The retainer covers SEO, on-page AEO and GEO work, basic conversion fixes, and a monthly report that shows each AI engine separately. Standalone AEO/GEO projects and full CRO projects are quoted separately.

App audit and production build

ServicePriceWhat you get
Production Readiness Audit$299 fixedSeven areas scored, a fix list ranked by risk and effort, a database and hosting recommendation, and a debrief call, within 5 business days of access to your project. Full refund if the report is late; the $299 is credited toward a build ordered within 60 days of the report
Production buildfrom $4,000Most small apps cost $4,000-$15,000 and are production-ready within two to four weeks of starting the build

If you built an app with Lovable, Bolt, Replit or a similar tool, the audit comes first and sets the scope of the build. If you do not continue, you keep the report and the fix list. After handover, you can add a monthly support agreement, quoted for your app, covering monitoring alerts, fixes and small changes; without one, fixes are quoted per request. Our app audit and build page explains what the audit checks.

Automation and database reactivation

ServicePriceWhat you get
Automationfrom $750Two or three workflows in Python or n8n, with logging, automatic retries and failure alerts. First workflows live in 1 to 2 weeks; larger builds are quoted in your written scope
Database reactivationfrom $1,000List cleaning and a consent check, sending setup (SPF, DKIM and DMARC, the records that show your emails really come from you) and a 3-email campaign in your voice. Larger lists or longer sequences are quoted

If an automation script runs on our servers and you leave, we hand over its code and move it to your own account on request. Our automation and database reactivation pages explain what each covers.

What we quote per project, and why.

Three kinds of work have no published price: AEO and GEO as a standalone project, full CRO (conversion rate optimization) projects and custom development. Their cost depends on things we cannot see until we look.

A standalone AEO and GEO project depends on what your site needs fixed, such as crawler access, server rendering or schema. A full CRO project depends on how many pages, forms and booking flows it covers. Custom development depends on what the tool has to do and which systems it talks to, and the first call and written scope for it are free. So we look first and send a written quote, and you see the number before you agree to anything.

What the website prices do not include.

Ongoing SEO after launch is a separate retainer from $1,499 a month; Scale includes 90 days of SEO work, while Starter and Growth include none after launch. Hosting, updates, monitoring and small edits after launch sit in the care plan, or you host the site yourself on any static host. Your domain renewal is paid by you, because the domain is registered in your name. E-commerce, integrations with your other software, custom tools and full CRO projects are quoted services.

Monthly reports come with the care plan, the SEO retainer and Scale's 90 days of SEO work, and Starter or Growth on their own include none. Anything not listed in your package is quoted in writing before it starts.

How our prices compare with the market.

Levitate's 2026 pricing review put agency-built small-business websites at $5,000 to $15,000 and freelancer-built sites at $500 to $5,000. Our Starter at $2,499 sits inside the freelancer range, with schema, tracking, a speed target and 30 days of support included. Our Growth at $5,499 sits at the low end of the agency range with no page cap, and Scale at $9,999 sits in the middle of it, with 12 articles and 90 days of SEO work included.

For SEO, GoodFirms' 2026 review put legitimate small-business SEO retainers at $1,500 to $3,000 a month. Our retainer starts at $1,499 a month, just under that range, and reports Google and six AI engines separately. We chose the accessible end of the market on purpose.

A website builder is cheaper to start with. The trade-offs in cost, effort and ownership are set out in our website builder vs web designer comparison.

What you get free, before you pay anything.

Two things cost nothing. The free website checker is an online tool that runs a technical check of one page and emails the result within a few minutes. For the free assessment, send the contact form with your website address, and a person on our team reviews your site and replies within one business day (Monday to Friday). SEO retainers are scoped from it.

The only paid audit is the $299 Production Readiness Audit for vibe-coded apps. If you order the build within 60 days of receiving the report, the $299 comes off its price.

Pricing questions

How much does a website cost for a small business?

Levitate's 2026 review puts freelancer-built small-business sites at $500 to $5,000 and agency-built sites at $5,000 to $15,000. At Flamcom, a website costs from $2,499 for up to 12 pages, from $5,499 with no page cap, and from $9,999 with 12 articles and 90 days of SEO work included. All our prices are in US dollars.

How long does a website take to build?

From kickoff to launch, Starter typically takes 3 to 4 weeks, Growth 5 to 8 weeks and Scale 8 to 12 weeks. These ranges are typical, not guaranteed. They assume you send feedback within two business days and supply content and access on time. Your written scope sets the exact dates alongside the fixed price, before any work starts.

How do payments work, and when do I own the site?

Starter is paid 50% to start and 50% at launch. Growth and Scale are paid 40% at kickoff, 40% at design approval and 20% at launch. On final payment you own the site, its design, its content and the full source repository, which we hand over on request. Your domain is always registered in your name.

Are there any hidden costs?

No. Your written scope sets the fixed price, and anything outside the package is quoted in writing first. As starting totals, year one is from $4,299 for Starter plus 12 months of the care plan, or from $7,299 for Growth plus the care plan; Scale's care plan is priced in its scope. You also pay your own domain renewal, and an SEO retainer only if you choose one.

How much does it cost to maintain a website each month?

From $150 a month with our care plan: hosting on our account, updates, backups, uptime and speed monitoring, and up to 1 hour of small edits a month, done within 2 business days. There is no minimum term. Cancel with 30 days' notice and we move the site to your own hosting at no charge, or skip the plan and host the site yourself.

Can I start with Starter and upgrade later?

Yes. Starter is built on the same static HTML and tracking as Growth, so adding pages later builds on what you already have. When you need more than 12 pages, we scope the next step and give you a timeline and a fixed price before work starts. The free assessment shows which pages your market searches for that your site does not have yet.

What does the SEO retainer include, and is there a minimum term?

SEO, on-page AEO and GEO work, basic conversion fixes and a monthly report on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode, from $1,499 a month. The minimum term is 3 months. After that it runs month to month, and you can cancel with 30 days' written notice. Standalone AEO and GEO projects and full CRO projects are quoted on their own.

Get your price in writing.

Send us your website, or a short note about what you want to build. Within one business day (Monday to Friday), by email, you get your free assessment and a link to book a 30-minute call. After that, you get a written scope with dates or milestones and a fixed price before any work starts.

Prefer to look at your site on your own first? The free website checker runs online and emails one page's results within a few minutes.

  • A mobile speed check of your current site, including Core Web Vitals (Google's speed and stability scores)
  • A list of the pages your market searches for that your site does not have
  • A test of whether AI assistants currently mention your business
