Terms of use

You may read, share and link to the pages on this site, and quote short passages with a link back to the page. Please do not:

• break, overload or try to get around the security of the site or its forms,
• send spam, malicious code or false information through the contact form or the checker,
• copy large parts of the site to publish elsewhere as your own,
• use the site in a way that breaks the law where you are.

We may change, pause or remove any part of the site at any time, and we may block access for anyone who misuses it.

The free website checker is a free, automated tool that tests one public page and emails you a report. The checker page links to these terms next to its button, and running a check means you accept the points below.

• It is for information only. The report describes what the checker found on the day it ran. It is not professional advice, a full review of your site, or a promise that fixing the findings will improve rankings, AI citations or sales.
• No guarantees. We work to keep the checker accurate, but results can be incomplete or wrong, for example when a site blocks crawlers, changes between runs, or behaves differently for different visitors. Check important findings before you act on them, or ask us to look.
• Fair use. Check one page at a time, for your own site or for public pages you have a fair reason to test. We may limit the number of checks, slow down or block automated or bulk use, and refuse requests that look like abuse.
• It can change. We may change what the checker tests, or withdraw it, without notice.

What we do with the email address you enter is set out in our privacy policy.

Run the free website checker

Most prices on our pricing page and service pages are "from" prices. They show where a package or service starts, and they are not an offer you can accept by sending a form. What a project includes and costs depends on its scope. Fixed prices are labeled as fixed: the $299 Production Readiness Audit is one. You order it through the contact form, and we confirm its scope and send a payment link by email before it starts. If we do not deliver the audit report within five business days of receiving access to your project, we refund the full $299. The fee is not refunded because an audit finds few or no problems. If you order a build from us within 60 days of the report, the $299 is credited toward it.

Every other piece of work starts only under a written scope with a fixed price and a timeline that you have accepted. That written scope, and any agreement signed with it, governs the project: what we deliver, what it costs, how payment works, who owns what, and what happens if plans change. These website terms do not govern client projects. The standard terms below describe what a written scope normally says, and where they differ, the written scope and agreement win. Client agreements are made with legal entity name and country.

Standard client terms

Unless your written scope says otherwise:

• Website build payments. Starter: 50% to start and 50% at launch. Growth and Scale: 40% at kickoff, 40% at design approval and 20% at launch.
• Ownership. When the final payment is made, you own the site, its design, its content and the full source repository, which we hand over on request. The domain is always registered in your name.
• SEO retainers. The minimum term is 3 months. After that the retainer runs month to month, and you can cancel with 30 days' written notice.
• Care plans. There is no minimum term. You can cancel with 30 days' notice, and we move the site to your own hosting at no charge. Domain renewal is paid by you, because the domain is registered in your name.

The free assessment you receive after sending the contact form is a starting point for a conversation. It is not a quote, and no work starts because of it.

The words, designs, graphics, logos and code on flamcom.com belong to Flamcom, or are used with permission. The names and logos of client businesses belong to those businesses and appear, with their permission, to show who we have built for. You may not copy the site's design or content to build another site, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you, without written permission.

Some pages link to other sites, such as tool providers or official guidance. We link to them because we think they are useful, but we do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement of everything on that site.

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided "as is". We do not promise that the site or the checker will always be available, free of errors, or right for your situation. Information on the site, including articles and examples, is general information and can go out of date.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, Flamcom is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using this site or the free checker, such as lost profits, lost data, lost rankings or business interruption. Because the site and the checker are free, our total liability to you for any claim about them is limited to 100 US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, and nothing here changes what a signed client agreement says about liability for paid work.

These terms are governed by the laws of governing law. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the effective date at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply from that date.
